Whether you’re a beginner eager to learn the basics or an intermediate skier looking to refine your technique, these skilled professionals will guide you every step of the way. Hosting the Annual Bieg Piastów Race:

One of the highlights of Jakuszyce Cross Country Ski Resort is its role as the host of the annual Bieg Piastów race. This prestigious event has become Poland’s biggest cross-country skiing race and has evolved into an exciting week-long festival. Athletes from around the world gather here to compete in various distances and styles, creating an electrifying atmosphere for both participants and spectators.

Advantages and Disadvantages:

Jakuszyce Cross Country Ski Resort boasts numerous advantages that enhance the overall skiing experience. The resort provides convenient rental facilities, allowing visitors to access high-quality ski equipment without any hassle. The slopes are meticulously groomed, ensuring optimal conditions for gliding through the winter wonderland. Additionally, the resort offers a modern center equipped with facilities such as shooting ranges, athletics tracks, and roller tracks, providing a comprehensive range of activities for all seasons. Access to slopes is free of charge! The resort is well connected both with Szklarka Poręba and Harrachov thanks to local railway that ensures smooth transportation during all seasons.

However, it is important to note a few drawbacks. In the peak winter season, the resort experiences an influx of pedestrian tourists who enter the slopes, posing a potential danger to both Nordic skiers and themselves. This issue calls for better regulation and awareness to ensure the safety of all visitors. Another challenge is the limited food offerings in Polana Jakuszycka during high season, which may fall short in meeting the demands of hungry skiers. However, nearby towns such as Szklarska Poręba offer a wider range of dining options to cater to visitors’ needs. For special food experience (if you like meat, beer and wine) it is recommended to visit local Czech cusine restaurant “Praha” in Harrachov. Absolutely delightful.
